Upon your arrival pick up and drive to Terelj. On the way visit big monastery in Nalaikh province and meeting with lama and teaching. The breakfast at the monastery restaurant. Lunch will have at 2 PM . After lunch short Terelj tour. Horse riding 1 hour. Dinner at 8pm. Mini Hoomii concert and stay overnight at the camp

Elsen Tasarkhai is a part of the Mongol Els sand dunes, that continues 80 km long 5 km wide across Burd, Bulgan and Gurvanbulag soums of Uvurkhangai province. It is located 280 km west of Ulaanbaatar and 80 km east of Karakorum - the ancient Mongolian capital. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one Experience the lifestyle of nomadic family in a traditional Mongolian ger or ride the camel, walk on sand dunes, and relax in beautifully serene nature. In the south-central region lies Bayankhongor, a province where nomadic life unfolds against a backdrop of vast steppe.

Engage with local herders, experience the hospitality of the nomadic people, and perhaps partake in a traditional Mongolian feast known as a “buuz” party.

Eight Takhi (the Mongolian wild horse) were reintroduced into the wild here in 1996. Experts hope they will survive and flourish in this remote area of the Gobi. On the left is a wild-born takhi stallion. On the right are four mares who had been flown in from the Prague Zoo two months earlier in July, so were still being kept in a big acclimation enclosure. The reintroduction people had learned early on that if the transshipped horses were simply released into the reserve upon arrival they would mostly not survive the winters (temperatures as low as -50C) or the wolves. Sutai Khairkhan Mountain peak is 4220 m (13.845 ft) Tsast Bogd / Tsast Uul, one of the 13 snow-capped peaks of the Gobi Altai Mountain Range. The Sutai Khairkhain Mountain stretches 60 km on the territory of Tonkhil soum of Gobi Altai province, Darvi and Tsetseg soums of Khovd province. The northern slope of the mountain is covered by larch forests. Numerous crystal-clear water rivers and streams source out of the mountain. The Mountain has been state worshipped since 2008 by a decree of former president Mr. Enkhbayar. N The locals name the mountain Suutei Uul or Milky Mountain as the mountain is year-round great pastureland and the animals grow lossless. As well as, good pastureland of yaks. Visit a Gobi-Altai ‘s museum. The museum was established as province study chamber in 1947 and it was expanded to become museum due to the statement of the Minister of Culture the 23rd of January, 1967. The museum has currently 2537-unit exhibitions in total. It displays more than 1600 exhibits through 4 chambers and 10 sections each has distinctive category such as geography, history and ethnic, handmade crafts and memorial etc. Travelers can feast their eyes on the most precious and invaluable finding such as jasper axe belongs to the 4000-5000. Khasagt Khairkhan Strictly Protected Area (27.448 hectare). The area protects endangered argali sheep and the Mongol Altai mountain environment.

There are few lakes can be found in the area including Ereen, Ajig, Sangiin Dalai and Gun lakes and they combined with Zavkhan River and the sand dunes make for a gorgeous landscape and interesting ecosystem.

Mongol Els or Mongol Sand Dunes is located between Gobi-Altai and Zavkhan province, stretching across several soums of respective provinces. Mongol Sand Dunes stretches 300km along the Zavkhan River Valley and it is the biggest sand formation in Mongolia. Overnight stay in tourist camp.
