Drive to Erdene Zuu Monastery. Explore this historical site. Erdene Zuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, was founded in 1586 by Abtai Sain Khan, one of the most influential Khalkha lords, on the site of Kharkhorin, the famous capital of the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. We will explore the Orkhon Waterfall, located on the Ulaan River, which flows into the Orkhon River. The waterfall is formed as the Orkhon River cascades through a 20-meter high basalt canyon, descending from the Gyantruun Mountain. Overnight stay will be at a tourist ger camp.
Drive to Tsenkher Jiguur Hot Springs. We will spend and traveling and staying at Tsenkher Jiguur Hot Spring, lay around 30 kms south of Arkhangai province centre Tsetserleg, the Hot Spring maintains a temperature of 86 degrees Celsius and contains hydrogen sulfide. Bathe in the spring. Visit a nomadic family. Observe the nomadic way of life and the technology of making milk products. Taste airag (mare's milk)Vodka//from milk/ Horse ride and hike around the area. Overnight in Ger hotel.
After breakfast at the camp, drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (Lake). This stunning lake features relatively pure fresh water and supports pike and other fish. Rare birds can also be found here. You will spend a full day at Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur. Visit Khorgo Uul and hike to the top of this craterous volcano, which was active about 2,000 years ago. Enjoy the beauty of nature, visit a nomadic family, and experience their way of life. Stay with the nomadic family for the night.
Lake Khovsgol is one of the most scenic spots in Mongolia. This gorgeous alpine lake is surrounded by high mountains, meadows, and forests, offering a complete contrast to the rest of the country. Over 90 rivers and streams flow into the lake, but only a single river flows out—the Egiin Gol, which ultimately reaches Lake Baikal in Siberia. Numerous activities are available here, including excellent fishing, swimming, hiking, boating, and horseback riding. We will explore the surrounding area on horseback and visit a family of reindeer breeders. Enjoy photography and a mini horse trek around Khovsgol National Park while taking in views from the high mountains. Overnight at a tourist ger camp.
